Acer has become one of the leading makers of laptop computers thanks to one key advantage. They are the largest seller of netbooks in the US thanks to their low price. Now that the PineTrail platform has been released by Intel, a wide range of new netbooks are coming to market but the average price tag has risen anywhere from $30 to $50. Acer has decided to keep prices down by offering their new Intel Atom N450 netbook at $300. Did they have to sacrifice features to keep the price down?
