The Medal of Honor series has been around for quite some time, though it hasn't made much of a splash lately. EA hopes to change that with the upcoming iteration, which should be far different than previous versions. The most obvious difference can be found in the setting of the game. Whereas previous games were set in World War 2, this game will be set in modern day Afghanistan. Gamers will control an elite soldier that is part of a squad, which from the demo appear to be quite capable of offering help. The single and multi player aspects of the game will be handled by different studios, with DICE taking care of the online component.
