Somewhere early on in the build process you're going to have to choose a motherboard. Once you've settled on a processor, you'll know what board family and socket the board must support. But nowadays with different chipsets for Intel's Clarksdale family of processors, it gets even more confusing. In today's roundup we have several Socket 1156 P55 chipset boards from MSI, ASUS and Gigabyte including the ASUS P7P55D-E Pro (also reviewed by OCC here). There are also reviews covering Socket 1366/X58 chipset and the Socket 1156/H55 chipset boards along with the Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 bard for AMD fans.
