Many companies have released netbooks based on the new Intel PineTrail netbook platform. This is a fairly major internal redesign of the netbook hardware but most companies have kept their netbook designs fairly similar to the previous generations. HP has decided to make some significant design changes to their consumer netbook lineup including a new patterned exterior. Are these changes more than just cosmetic?
