Lenovo has released a number of different netbooks under the IdeaPad name but they have yet to release one with their more prestigious Thinkpad name until now. Not wanting it to be a clone of their IdeaPad series models, Lenovo has made some very significant design decisions. It shares much of the same look and feel of the ThinkPad products but is uses an AMD netbook platform over the much more popular Intel one. Does this provide a significantly different experience for users? Find out in my review of the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e netbook.
